Our Eastern White Cedar Process

We buy our Eastern White Cedar only from trusted Northern Maine loggers known for their hard work and reliability. This commitment ensures consistent quality, responsible sourcing, and products built on generations of experience.
Cants
At our mill, quality starts at the log. We purchase logs specifically for their consistency and durability, then mill them into cants in-house before any further breakdown. This process allows us to control dimensions, maximize yield, and maintain the structural integrity of the wood from start to finish. By handling each step ourselves, we ensure reliable, uniform material you can count on.
Boards
Our fence boards and posts are one of the final, most important steps in building a quality fence. Every piece that leaves our mill is cut, handled, and inspected by experienced mill workers who understand what contractors and homeowners need in the field.
